Gorgeous end tables for under $87
If you want to be super-frugal with end tables, you can buy crazy-cheap plastic ones at a bargain store, or even throw a cloth over a sturdy box. But if you want end tables that look and feel like real furniture without costing a ton, I’ve found several nice-looking ones for under. This American Cherry end table is $86.99, and it has a roomy drawer, enough surface space for a lamp, beverages and a few other items, and a shelf below for magazines or whatever. It’s made of solid pine. The style is fairly traditional, with just a touch of Pier One.
The Antique End Table is a simpler style, with just a shelf instead of a drawer. It’s also made of solid pine and sells for $84.99. The look is a little more old-fashioned, and will coordinate with more traditional decor styles.
The Heart Curio Table is also more cutesy and less functional than the others in that has one shelf for storage and the surface is designed for looking at rather than holding lamps and other items. You open the top and put in curios under the glass. It’s made of rubberwood and veneers and sells for $81. The style is pure country.
The Stratton Accent Table is charming and quaint. The top functions as a tray for beverages. There’s not a lot of room on the top, and it doesn’t have a drawer or shelf. But if you’re not looking for storage – if you want a gorgeous accent piece that compliments traditional styles, this is a lovely option at $81. It’s metal with a wooden inset.
