Laundry drying racks for indoor clothes drying
One great way to save money (and be more green) is to dry your clothes on a line instead of using an electric or gas dryer. This is great if you have a hard and enough sunny days year round to do it. But what if you’re lacking one of the other of those things?
Laundry drying racks to the rescue! There are several different types available, so even with tight floor space you can find places to put these. They also (in my experience) reduce the need to iron because the clothes dry with minimal wrinkles. The one pictured here stands up on a tub ($33.99), which has the added benefit of letting any drips fall into the tub instead of onto the floor (I’ve never really had clothes drip as they’re drying before, though).
This accordian style ($27.99) drying rack maximizes the use of your floor space by allowing you to hang items on multiple levels. It folds flat when not in use, so you can just store it in a closet or lean it against a wall.
Dry socks and other small articles of clothing out of the way on a hanging garment dryer. One or several of these can hang almost anywhere - over a shower door or shower curtain rod, for example.
The Folding Laundry Carousel collapses to almost nothing, and holds a lot of clothes in a small space while you’re drying them. If you only have room for one of these racks, this might be the best overall solution - it makes great use of floor space.
And don’t forget the Laundry Valet Rod as yet another option.
