Queen platform beds for under $200
I had no idea you could get a platform bed for under $200. I’ve been wanting one because they can provide more even back support than box springs and extend the life of your mattress. The Southshore Chocolate Queen Platform Bed (pictured) is $160, not including headboard, with built-in drawers, made of engineered wood with a laminate surface.
This next one is my personal first choice. For $185.99, you can get the solid Pecos Lite Oak Platform Bed Frame in Queen Size. Aside from the look and the promise of good construction, what I like about this one is that the legs give you the same amount of storage under the bed that you get with a normal bedframe. There’s also a maple version for $208.99.
The Southshore “Up Country” Queen Bed Frame without headboard is $199. It’s made of engineered wood and has no drawers, but features a lovely walnut finish and a design that’s just a bit on the rustic side.
