Using sofa tables to declutter

Sofa tables can be very helpful in making your home look less cluttered. The tables themselves have very clean, simple lines that show off objects that could otherwise look cluttered. Most of them have two shelves, counting the top surface. This is a great place to feature a collection of knicknacks, framed pictures, magazines, scrapbooks, photo albums, books (use a couple of attractive bookends), extra dishes for the dining room, etc. Sofa tables can fit in not just behind a sofa, but in a hallway, foyer, on a stair landing, in a dining room, etc.

Other great uses for sofa tables include:

Make a mail station/secretary out of it, using some attractive inboxes and sorters.
Add wicker baskets as drawers and store virtually anything, even junk, out of sight.
