Wine drinkers: save money with a wine preserver
One of the best investments I’ve made for myself as a wine drinker is a wine preserver. I’m the only person in my household who drinks it, so I can never open a bottle and hope to finish it in one sitting. With a wine preserver, the air gets force-pumped out of the bottle and the flavor is preserved almost perfectly for several days – plenty of time to finish the bottle. I’ve talked to people who finish a bottle of wine when they don’t want it, for fear it’ll go bad, and I can never understand why. You can’t enjoy wine like it’s meant to be enjoyed if you’re just scarfing it down.

And if this doesn’t appeal, you can always make ice cubes out of your leftover wine.
